Today didn't really start with a rain, but it did rain at night.
Today was THE day: Scriptwriting Essentials Presentation for the corporate video. My group was doing on the Singapore Season which would be held in New York (I'm not too sure if it's true though). I was so worried before our turn, I went to the toilet twice. Yeah my stomach gets groggy when I get really nervous. I guess you can call that "having butterflies in your stomach"? Haha.
Anyway, the presentation went kinda okay, but what really had be worried was the Q&A session. I was afraid that I would screw up. Thank goodness I didn't though, but something made me Facepalm more than once. That Ivan said a lot of things (something that's really out of the norm), 70% of which didn't make sense. I mean, Singapore Season is an event that promotes Singapore's artistic aspects, so why would we wanna include things like low crime rate and housing in Singapore? That's not all. What really made me Facepalm and banged my head against the wall was the 2 words that he always uses to "cut tension".
"Never mind."
Yes, those were the 2 words. It's so anti-climax that everyone just groaned!
The presentations were really long and in the end, we were only let off at 4.40pm, 1 and a half hours later than our scheduled 3pm! I was really hungry and tired by then, so I went to have lunch with Benjamin. I admit that that was my second plate of Chicken Cutlet. I really couldn't help it...there weren't any good looking food at the Chinese Food store...
Anyway after lunch, I went to the audio room to start working on our final assignment. The video quality wasn't really good, so we had to compromise. There were some issues during the time we were working on the assignment, but I won't go into that. (Sorry Joshua)
I came to a realisation today: For a friend you gain, you lose another. This occurred to me when I was taking the bus home. I won't talk much about it, but yeah, that's what I understood.
And yeah, it rained when I was walking home, in the exact same way as the time I walked home on a bad day, only that I didn't feel bad or anything. The bottom of my jeans and my shoes were completely soaked.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot to say something important. A few days back, my chinchilla Yuan Yuan injured her left leg and she's still on the road to recovery. On the day I saw her leg, I was like "Oh my god". A portion of her feet had the skin holding the fur completely scraped off. It pains me just to see that. Imagine your skin coming off. Ouch. I hope she recovers quickly...
