After deciding to check on my blog to see how dead it is, I'm actually surprised that so many "me"s love my blog so much to spam on the tagboard, thanks man =) Sorry Keit, for not updating my blog because I don't have much to update and I'm lazy, and yes rayray, I know who you are =)
I'm currently down with a sore throat so I'm trying my best to stay away from food that will potentially harm my throat even more. I need to keep my voice in top shape so that I can do well for voice acting and Kohaku. Man, the stress I'm getting myself into.
I got myself addicted to Tetris again recently and I decided to beat my own record, which I did, but I was still not satisfied. Why? Because I played for 5 freaking hours and I only managed to get 10089448! I seriously wonder how long Utada Hikaru took to reach the score of 99999999, but however long it is, I really respect her for having a great and powerful voice and superb skills in Tetris. And I'm also serious about the fact that Tetris improves your speed in thinking. I used to be so slow and always died at level 11, but now I'm able to get to level 300 plus without dying. Yay.
Oh yes, I've not said anything about Kohaku yet. Basically Kohaku is a song battle between two teams, red and white, to see which team has the better singers. I watched the Japanese Kohaku a few times before and I thought it was cool, but I didn't expect Singapore to actually organise a Kohaku on her own, and it's been going on for a few years. So I decided to join this year's with the songs Byakuya ~True Light~, Hikari no Shiruetto and Maggaare Spectacle. I got through with no problem, but the song chosen was Maggaare Spectacle. It's a very interesting song to sing to, and thanks to Suzumiya Haruhi no Gekisou, there actually is a dance for the chorus part, which is amazingly cool. Now all I need to do is to find green/white blazers, white shirt and black/white pants. Oh, and also a cheap bendable metal spoon.
Audition for 1000 Stars and Squalls is in a week's time. Gotta pull myself together and think of something for the 5 minutes of special talent showcase!!! ><
Also, recently I'm starting to pick up guitar again, particularly the electric guitar. Ever since the last jamming session with Aly, Faith, Cheryl, Vicki, Meng and Grace, I started to fall in love with the E guitar again. I hope I can save up enough money to get one and practise at home without having to waste money to go to jamming studios and play at a limited time.
Well I guess I'll update up to here. More may be up soon. Hopefully.
