After so long, I finally got to eat one of my favourite products: Choco Baby.
After so long, SIP is about to end soon.
After so long (well not really), I got together with my dear Mikuru cosplayer.
Okay enough of after so longs.
Anyway, took part in Japanese Idol yesterday. Although I didn't win, it was a really great experience to be able to sing outdoors to the a group of audience, especially when some people know the song I'm singing. I'm not sure if my exposure has increased, but from what I saw yesterday, I have a feeling that I amazed quite a number of people. And for that, I'm really happy.
What made me wonder is the judges' decision on the winner. From what I heard/saw, I was given fairly good comments, but I didn't win. The one who won was this malay dude named Haru who did the Billie Jean dance (which has absolutely no link to what he sang later on). Another thing that made me suspect this whole set up was the fact that one of the judges said the song that Haru sang was the only one that he know amongst all of us. Ah well, screw it.
One more chance I have: the group category. If not, I can kiss the air tickets to Japan goodbye...
Here are some photos taken:
Dear dear and me, taken before team meeting XD Oh yeah, we had a team meeting before the competition to make payments and some final measurements.
Sound check time~ I didn't wear my specs during performance though.
OMG caught in action! But I anticipated it XD
Dear dear, Chibi and me!
'Tis my bratha and meh XD
My shista~!
Family picture! That's my sister-in-law at the bottom left~ my mum can't make it though.
My hair's screwed up here D=
Whee~~~
Can you spot me? XD
We also got to take a picture with Reiko-san, the host of the event and a DJ from 96.3FM! I feel so short XD
Another pic with Reiko-san and...Callista~
Well that's all the good pictures that were taken yesterday. My sis managed to take a video of my performance, but it's too small and the quality isn't as good, but ah well, it's a really great experience! =D
Thanks to my family and my darling who were there to support me! Thanks to the judges for your wonderful comments on my singing! And thanks to Reiko-san for giving me this opportunity to perform on stage for everyone! Thank you all!!! =D
